Working Hard for Ward 1
It is nearing the end of my first term as a City Councilor for Pittsfield, and I am proud of the work that we have accomplished. I have spent the last year and a half working hard for my constituents on the issues that matter to them. Whether it is getting guardrails and signage installed on Crane Ave, petitioning the council to ban the use of chipseal, advocating for safer intersections on North and Walden, or making sure their trash is picked up, I have worked hard to be responsive to the needs of the residents.
It is no secret that the world is changing. As big industries become automated or move overseas, and brick and mortar stores close their doors, Pittsfield needs to adapt to these changes. We have struggled but are moving forward. As a city councilor, I must consider the needs of the large aging population, while still planning for our future. Researching best practices, engaging with the community, building partnerships and thinking critically is what I bring to the council. My love for Pittsfield and its residents is what keeps me going.
As my campaign gets going, I'll be out there knocking on doors and making calls. I want to hear from you, what you think we can do to move Pittsfield forward... together. And I humbly and sincerely hope to earn your vote on November 5th.
See you on the doorsteps!
