Tuesday, September 17th - Preliminary Election. Election hours are 7:00AM-8:00PM at Reid Middle School (for ward 1 voters). Ward 1 does not have a preliminary election, but make sure you go vote for the mayoral race!  Unfortunately, voter registration for the preliminary election has passed, but if you need an absentee ballot, respond to this email with your address and the phrase, "absentee ballot" and we'll drop off/mail an application to you!

In solidarity,  Helen Moon Pittsfield City Councilor, Ward 1

Some of you have asked, "What are Image Descriptions?"

Image descriptions are written descriptions of pictures/logos for people who use screen readers due to being blind or low vision. It is important because it makes our email blasts more accessible. Here at Team Moon, we're still getting the hang of using image descriptions. If you would like to learn more, check out: https://livingwithdisability.tumblr.com/post/124066767358/all-about-image-descriptions. The author gives a good break down of why and how.

Image Description: A group photo of multi-generational, multi-ethnic women in semi-formal clothing. They are standing on the patio with green trees behind them.
