Why Your Vote Counts
April 14, 2019
Two years ago, during my first run for City Council in Pittsfield, we saw a neighboring ward with an exciting and contentious race. In that election the winner took the race with 411 votes. His opponent had 367. That is a difference of 44 votes. Think about that for a minute. 23 people would have changed the outcome of a municipal ward race. Which just shows, your vote truly matters.
